Jane Thorington-Hassell continued in our series on discipleship in exploring the call to be part of community from Galatians 3 26-28. This included the vision and value behind the embracing of the importance of “associating“ within a whole range and scope of the wider Body of Christ as well as finding new depth and commitment at the local level. Since May 1981, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has used aircraft to collect cosmic dust (CD) particles from Earth's stratosphere. Specially designed dust collectors are prepared for flight and processed after flight in an ultraclean (Class-100) laboratory constructed for this purpose at the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center (JSC) in Houston, Texas. Particles are individually retrieved from the collectors, examined and cataloged, and then made available to the scientific... When conducting physical science research in space, the smallest vibration or disturbance can disrupt sensitive experiments. Back in the 1990s we developed an instrument, the Space Acceleration Measurement System (SAMS) that flew on the shuttle to monitor the vibration environment - but it wasn't very flexible. It could only measure vibrations for three users and only at fixed frequency ranges, and it had to be disassembled after each two-week mission to be readied for reuse. Then the... This paper develops a near-optimal guidance law for generating minimum fuel, time, or cost fixed-range trajectories for supersonic transport aircraft. The approach uses a choice of new state variables along with singular perturbation techniques to time-scale decouple the dynamic equations into multiple equations of single order (second order for the fast dynamics). Application of the maximum principle to each of the decoupled equations, as opposed to application to the original coupled... A real-time, high-rate precision navigation Kalman filter algorithm is developed and analyzed. This navigation algorithm blends various navigation data collected during terminal area approach of an instrumented helicopter. Navigation data collected include helicopter position and velocity from a global position system in differential mode (DGPS) as well as helicopter velocity and attitude from an inertial navigation system (INS). The goal of the navigation algorithm is to increase the DGPS... Topics: METAL IONS, MOLECULAR EXCITATION, ATOMIC ENERGY LEVELS, FREQUENCIES, VANADIUM COMPOUNDS, COBALT...

Intended for use with or without counseling help, this occupational exploration guide is organized around 12 interest areas, 66 work groups, and 348 subgroups of occupational titles. The interest areas (an expansion of John Holland's six occupational categories) represent the broad interest requirements of occupations as well as the vocational interests of individuals. Within each interest area are work groups (occupational clusters) suitable for exploration by those who have a particular... The study explored the feasibility of deriving an educationally relevant occupational cluster structure based on Occupational Analysis Inventory (OAI) work dimensions. A hierarchical cluster analysis was applied to the factor score profiles of 814 occupations on 22 higher-order OAI work dimensions. From that analysis, 73 occupational clusters were identified and interpreted. Although those clusters were for the most part individually meaningful, the desired hierarchical pattern of clustering...
